Corrupted files rule. I also love when DVD's and digital television mess up and you get all those pixels and messed up jitteryness. I have been working on a series of specifically that. It's great when technology screws up.

I've always wanted to head over that way. I really enjoy traveling. I've been to most of Europe but not much else. Sounds like you had a great experience there.

Do you know if that is really how they grow the square watermelons? Just by growing them in a box? I've seen them before but always kind of wondered how it was done. It might be interesting to try to do similar things to other foods. Have you seen colored foods as well? Like they grow the vegetables and stuff with abnormal coloring? It's kinda scary...but kind of awesome as well.

Are you at all familiar with the artwork of Ken Rinaldo and Amy Youngs in the Art and Tech section here at Ohio State? I have studio hours with both of them and they are working on some incredible "green art" involving raising fish and veggies that are sustainable and stuff...pretty cool.

Specifically check out the "Fish Farm" here

Ken has some of his work here

This is something I came across a little while ago that I thought was pretty awesome. It came to light due to the 2008 CustomCon where people present modded or completely new "homemade" action figures/series. One particular person stands out among most and his website has many of his collections available for viewing here Sillof's Workshop. One of my favorite sets is the Steampunk Star Wars where the entire cast has been re-envisioned to take on a steampunk feel and look, but there are some other good ones to check out as well. They are so awesome I can actually imagine an entire new movie being made using these characters. Check them out, it's worth it.
